How can you make your hair as soft as it feels after you go to the hair salon? Is there any special products?

Even though I got my haircut, whenever I take a shower and let my hair air dry it feels much more dry compared to how it did once I left the hair salon. My hairstylist even uses a blow dryer which is supposed to dry your hair out, but it still comes out feeling soft. Is there any products that I can use to achieve those same results?

ok so you can either
- ask your hair dresser/stylist what products he or she is using. buy them and soft hair, here you come.

hair salon products are always more expensive, so if you don’t want to spend too much money on your hair products, then here is another idea

buy " Herbal Essences None of your Frizznes smoothing leave-in creme" . it stops your hair from being frizzy, it smells very delicious (extracts of mandarin balm and pearls..yummy) PLUS it makes your hair and your ends extremely soft.

another option:
buy a hair mask. i like the Pantene Pro-V nourishing, moisturizing and replenishing mask. LOVE IT
put it in your hair once a week, leave it in for 3-5 minutes and then rinse out.it smells really good too and it makes damaged hair soft again.

highschool is almost over for me, and my mom and i were talking about careers. i love to do hair and make up, but i’d like to have a job that will support my expenses. my mom suggested getting a degree in cosmetology and opening up a salon to cut people’s hair and do their make up.
so, around how much money does a cosmetologist make?

You would earn enough to support you & your family.

You would earn about $20000 even more if your lucky.

Just think of it as your school work, the better you do, the better your results are gonna be. It depends mostly in the style you do.

What is the cheapest form of heating for my hair salon?
I have just had 2 storage heaters removed out of the salon as the heat doesn’t last all day and uses electric all night to heat them up. What heaters use less electric and will keep salon warm for clients? Any advice welcome.

Gas is the cheapest form of heating (about 4 pence per unit (kwh)). Electricity costs about 12p per unit.
The electicity used by the overnight storage heaters is discounted and costs about 8p per unit.
Assuming you don’t have gas, the storage heaters would have been the best bet (as they run on the cheaper electricity). You could get a normal electric heater to ‘top-up’ the warmth in the afternoon.
The only option left is be to buy normal electric heaters to heat throughout the day.
There’s no point in buying ‘efficient’ or ‘cheap to run’ heaters as all heaters are 100% efficient – it’s just that you only get out what you put in.
So a 1kw heater will cost 12p per hour and a 3kw heater will cost 36p per hour. But the question is will a 1kw heater be enough to keep you warm?
Best to go for the 3kw one and make sure it has a thermostat – this will cut out automatically when the room gets up to your desired temperature.

I’m a honey blond colour and have pretty long hair, before school starts again i’ve wanted to get a new look. I’ve been debating whether or not i should get a fringe but keep my long hair length. Would this look good? I have an oval face if it helps

If you have an oval face then your face is slightly narrow at the jaw line and you have a rounded hairline (forehead is wider than the chin). You also have prominent cheekbones.

Because your face is well proportioned and balanced, you have the ideal face structure and can wear just about any hairstyle. Wispy bands and one length hair looks best on you. Be sure to avoid high volume hair because it can make your face appear long.

I am new to town and am looking for a reasonably priced good hair salon or stylist. I have shoulder length hair and am looking to get a cut, colour, and highlights for under $200. I have been looking but to no avail.

What is the penalty for working in a hair salon, washing hair without a permit?

Do both the salon and the worker get penalized, or is it just the employee? My daughter was hired as an "assistant". She was supposed to be washing towels, sweeping, etc.. Since she is going to school in the fall for her license, she thought it would be a good way to get a taste of the working environment. Now they have her washing hair, too. Not just when they’re in a pinch, but like, it’s her job now along with the other stuff. I know by law she’s not supposed to do that without 600 hours of school and her permit and was wondering what penalty is involved. Thanks for any help you can offer.
She is mixing and removing hair color,foils, etc.. not applying it. According to the NJ cosmetology licensing board website.. you must have 600 hours/permit to wash hair. So, I would think she would be subject to penalty, too.
