I want to get eyebrow threading done. It’s my first time, should I do it?

I am getting married this weekend and my make-up artist suggested I get eyebrow threading done. I have never had my eyebrows threaded before and I dont know what kind of reaction I might have. Should I do it or not?
Does anybody know a good place in Scarborough?

Unless you have very sensitive skin and are prone to reactions, I wouldn’t worry about it. The area gets a lil red immediately after but that should subside in a few hours (max.)

Consult the person at the salon and go as early as possible just in case.. but its a great way to shape your brows s I’d do it!

    I’ve been threading mine for years and I would never do anything else!

    Good eyebrows frame your face

    Even if you don’t keep it up, definately do it for your wedding day!

    Edit: I have no idea what is in Scarborough, but if there is a large Indian community then there will be a salon around. And unlike most things, the most expensive is not always the best! Once I paid £15 in Debenhams, but I got a better shape having it done for £2.50 in a small salon!

  3. Oh yes, definitely go for it. It doesn’t harm your skin like waxing would and personally, i think the results are better. I think Indian women do a particularly great job at it..they always seem to have perfect eyebrows. Eyebrows can really make or break the whole look of your face, and it’s especially important for those close-ups! You should do it. Its usually around $11 from my experience. :)

  4. I would’nt it hurts soooooooo bad! But, maybe it was just because I am 13 and it was my first time but… Also, don’t do your lip I did mine because someone told me I had a little feminine mustache! Ouch! I was crying pretty much the whole time! But, maybe it’s just me! Oh! Congratulations on the wedding!
