Yeah. I only went … Yeah. I only went because of pain in my shoulder. But I will not ever be going back to one again. I know more than they do. Shoot I probably could open up my own shop. As many times I have been asked to do peoples hair, but declined. I don’t want anyone trying to sue me if their hair should fall out. But I feel as though I know just as much if not more. And anything extra they may know is to generate money by creating a need.
@NiniDread I agree. … @NiniDread I agree. It’s the same thing here. They’ll hire anybody off the streets, and they may know a lil about doing some hair, but know nothing about natural hair, efficiency OR professionalism lol.
@POETIQPRYNCESS … @POETIQPRYNCESS Yeah, this was only the third time I’ve been to one. My first set of locks I had for 12 years and maintained myself. I truly believe they find anyone off the streets who can twist, coil, braid and palm roll to make money. I will not be going back to any natural hair salon for any reason everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. For the most part they aren’t educated on natural hair care therefore incapable of parting knowledge to their patrons.
Wow! I have heard … Wow! I have heard so many horror stories about natural hair salons. It makes me very glad that I maintain my locs myself, I’m scared to go to a salon! lol
Great vid, and your locs are looking very nice
