What is the best make-up course in London and how easy is it to get into professional make-up?

My friend is looking to do an affordable professional make-up course in London. Can you recommend any that are known to be good (and maybe successful in getting a job afterwards) and how easy/hard is it to get into professional make-up?
It could be for TV, broadway, etc.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
