What are the best salon products for curly hair?

Salon products are so expensive and trying to find the best one is hard to do without spending a fortune.

I have naturally curly hair, but it’s a somewhat relaxed curl and takes product to get a smooth bouncy curl. Right now I am using a mousse. I don’t like that wet crispy look.

Someone said to try an oil/ serum. What is that and what’s a good salon brand?
