What is the best salon hairspray for humid climates?

I am a hairstylist. I grew up in a dry climate, when I curled and sprayed my hair it stayed perfect. Now that I live in a humid climate, it’s harder to maintain. I’ve switched to aerosol because I do find it holds a little better, but still not quite what I want. I only buy salon quality products from the beauty suppliers.

  2. I moved to Florida many years ago (as a cosmetologist) and realized early on that no one here was paying for fancy or heavily sprayed hair styles. I learned to do quick breasy type haircuts. you can’t keep your hair flawless here, and it seems in humid areas the hairspray draws bugs. But the biggest thing here was "color" and styles you could wear to the pool, and for men it was the shaved look.

    Up north I used to use strictly Clairol poducts (strong hold)….and found they held the boufonts fantastically.
