What is the best way to build a multicultral salon atmosphere?
I work in a nail salon and plan on having my own in the near future. What would be some inexpensive ways to attract clients to my salon. What I have noticed is that some salons cater to one particular ethnic group, and i guess alot of this has to do with the location of some of these salons, but i would like to cater to all groups. I believe money has one color; and that is green
It you are only doing nails, this should not be an issue. Simply, build off of your already existing client base, spread the word with flyer’s, word of mouth etc. Women of all cultures, ethic backgrounds and races enjoy getting their nails done. It is only if you are going to be doing hair, this may be an issue, unless you are knowledgeable about doing hair of different textures… All women are funny about their hair, if you are not knowledgeable in doing different types, styles and textures of hair, you may want to learn first. And location is very important… You would also want to carry product lines that which cater to the population you are trying capture attention for business. Good luck and God bless****
