Do most hair stylists and salons allow me to bring my own unused bottle of hair dye?

Or do I normally have to use what’s available at their salons? I’m planning to let them bleach a small streak my hair (using whatever products they have) and dye it using the unused, new hair dye I bring along.
I’m just not sure because they may want to promote the brands they have or make me spend more at the salon by using their dye instead.

  2. I get my hair dyed at the salons every time :]
    I’ve never brought my own hair dye though, but I’m guessing they would. It’d save some money, so why not?
    If you’re really not sure, you could give them a quick ring just to see if it’s okay.
    I’m fairly sure it’d be fine though.
