What is the clear top coat they use in salons to make the nail polish last for weeks?

I just would love to know the most common clear top coat nail polish they use in the salons that they put on all the colors so that it doesnt chip away for a long time.

OPI and China Glaze are the main nail polish brands that salons use.
But every salon uses a different brand.
Ask next time you go to get a manicure or pedicure.

    every salon uses something different
    the one i use that u can purchase at your local drugstore is
    " Sally Hansen NO CHIP Acrylic Top Coat "

  2. This is actually just a regular topcoat that you can buy at stores. I don`t get my nails painted at salons anymore because even if it`s done at a salon they still chip two days later, LOL. I don`t want to keep wasting money, so instead I just get tips for thirty dollars which last you for a month and you don`t have to worry about bumping them or chipping them. If you want to buy a clear topcoat just go to Wal-Mart and get one by Revlon. Hope I helped!

  4. There are lots of different clear nail polishes used as top coats. Every nail polish brand you can think of has a clear nail polish. If I were you, I would go and ask the salon which brand of clear nail polish they used. I’m guessing that since it is a business, the salon got a clear nail polish from a really good brand. Ask!
